Phd progress

Hi,

Haritu kol zida my bff. Saje je nak chit-chatting + gossiping ngn auntie zida. Haha. Tapi dlm pada berbual ti, boleh plak auntie zida tanya, "u ape cerite progress phd u, mcm slow je". Hamboii. Laser u. Haha.

Actually i've drafted a bit of my progress just before the conversation, but u know la stok2. mak2 orang ni..bz memanjang. So lupe la nak update blog. Hehe.

So here's the bit of my phd progress that i wrote previously. ;)

Ibu busy masuk lab dah now. Sv kate dah boleh start main2 dengan apparatus yang bakal gune untuk research nanti. Tak start ape pon lagi, just tgh familiar kan dengan software yang akan digunakan and bace2 sikit pasal procedure nk run test gune apparatus tu.

Basically lab di sini jauh lebih moden. Nak run test semuanya computer yang kawal and reading data pon semuanya computer yang buat. Jadi kerja ibu nanti, klik button start and tunggu result. Siap. Hee.

Ok, tipu benar la kan kalau semudah tu. Actually takla semudah tu sgt. Before nak run test nanti, kena ade programme yang kita buat sendiri untuk bagi arahan pada apparatus tu nanti apa nak buat. So programming ni mmg kena kemahiran jugak la sebab software yg digunakan tu nanti mmg susah dan memeningkan.

TAPI....hehe...sv kate ibu takyah pening2 kepala nak write program untuk run test research ibu tu nanti sebab die dah write kan program tu, so ibu boleh teros gune je apa yang die dah buat. Cume die kate at least ibu kena ada jgak la sikit ilmu pasal programme yg die write tu so that if we stuck somewhere, ibu taklah lost and maybe boleh share idea untuk sama-same solve kan problem tu nanti. Mcm masih nampak mudah jugk kan untuk ibu? Hehe. Ok la tu. Cepatlah ibu siap, cepat jugak la ibu balik malaysia. =P

The thing yang ibu suke sgt pasal sv ibu ni ialah, die sgt memahami and always bare in mind yang ibu ni bukan dari background civil engineering. Ye la, geology is more on qualitative interpretations, else civil is more on quantitative aspects. Jauh sgt beza. That's y, bile came into research scope, he's focussing on something yang not to much to calculate, and very simple. Jadi if ada anything melibatkan calculation or programming, he will take charge of that and let me do the basic one. Heavan kan? I noe. :p

So as for the next 6 months lepas ni, life will change quite drastic. No more desk study at home. Most of the time, i'll be in lab and some write-up for the literature review part is about to commence too. So yes..i'm starting my normal-student-routine again. ;)
